We can’t believe summertime is almost here! We can’t wait for the warm weather, time on the water & Market 586! What better way to kick off summer than Market 586 in Harpers Ferry, IA on Saturday, June 14, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.. Conveniently, that is Father’s Day weekend!
Grab your friends, family or anyone who wants to join and make your way to Harpers Ferry because we’ve got something for everyone! With 40 vendors, 3 local restaurants, a food truck, a COFFEE truck, drink options and so much more you are bound to have a great time! Check out our complete list of vendors below with links to their social media pages (if available).
A few important notes for the event:
📍We have not one but TWO locations with outside vendors at both!
Portside Event Center: 125 Jefferson Avenue, Harpers Ferry, IA 52146
Harpers Ferry Community Center: 134 N 4th St., Harpers Ferry, IA 52146
🚗 Both locations have large parking lots, but it still gets filled up quickly. Please be considerate of others, but also remember to stay clear of the gas pumps when parking at the Portside Event Center. The locations are a quarter mile apart- a quick walk or a very quick drive. Parking is available at both locations.
💵 We encourage cash. Some vendors will take credit cards or Venmo, some do not. However, remember, there are always fees associated with using a credit card that sometimes the vendor is forced to pay. When in doubt, cash is the best form of payment. We do have an ATM in the restaurant and in the gas station.
😋 Portside will have some specialty drinks available at the Event Center bar, or check out their full food menu.
At the Harpers Ferry Community Center we will be hosting Fiesta Vallarta’s mobile food truck for yummy food!
Remember that if you head further into town, Spillway has delicious tenderloins that have been ranked top 5 in IOWA. River Run Pub & Grub has their yummy breakfast to enjoy (open at 7 a.m.).
